Overview

A highly respected UHNW family based in Dubai is seeking an experienced, discreet, and professional Private Driver to provide seamless transportation support to the family.

This role can be offered on either a live-in or live-out basis and requires a driver who understands the high standards expected within a private household environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting the children to and from school, driving the parents including the father to appointments, meetings, social engagements, and other destinations, as well as providing transportation for family guests when required.

The family is looking for a polished, reliable, and friendly individual with previous experience supporting VIPs, high-profile individuals, private families, family offices, or royal households in the UAE. The driver must be comfortable handling luxury vehicles, including Rolls-Royce models, and maintaining them to impeccable standards.

Flexibility, discretion, excellent local knowledge, and a calm, service-oriented approach are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport the children to and from school, activities, appointments, and social engagements.

  • Drive the parents and other family members to meetings, appointments, events, restaurants, airports, and other destinations as required.

  • Provide professional transportation support to family guests when necessary.

  • Plan routes in advance, taking traffic conditions, timings, and family preferences into account.

  • Remain flexible and adaptable to changing schedules, last-minute requests, and occasional requirements outside standard hours.

  • Ensure all vehicles are kept exceptionally clean, presentable, fuelled, and ready for use at all times.

  • Take responsibility for the routine maintenance, servicing, registration, insurance, and roadworthiness of the family’s vehicles.

  • Conduct regular vehicle checks and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.

  • Maintain complete confidentiality and discretion regarding the family’s personal, professional, and travel arrangements.

  • Demonstrate excellent etiquette, professional presentation, and a high standard of personal service at all times.

  • Work respectfully and collaboratively with other household staff.

Requirements

  • Previous UAE experience in a similar private household, UHNW, VIP, family office, or royal household environment.

  • Proven experience driving luxury vehicles, including high-end and chauffeur-driven models.

  • Valid UAE driving licence with a completely clean driving record.

  • Excellent knowledge of Dubai, UAE road networks, key destinations, and traffic patterns.

  • Fluent English communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of VIP protocol, etiquette, discretion, and confidentiality.

  • Polished, professional, friendly, and well presented.

  • Reliable, punctual, flexible, and highly organised.

  • Calm under pressure, with excellent judgement and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable working in a busy private household and adapting to the family’s changing requirements.

  • Able to provide professional references from previous private household or VIP roles.
