Overview

A lovely American family who have recently relocated to Abu Dhabi are seeking an exceptionally experienced, warm, and professional Maternity Nurse / Baby Nanny to care for their 4-week-old baby girl.

This is a live-in role within a formal but warm private household. The successful candidate will become an important source of support and reassurance for first-time parents, providing excellent hands-on newborn care while respecting and encouraging the parents’ involvement in their daughter’s routine and development.

The family is looking for a knowledgeable candidate with extensive experience caring for newborns through to toddler age. They would welcome thoughtful guidance and professional advice; however, it is essential that the Maternity Nurse is collaborative, gentle, and respectful of the parents’ wishes, rather than overly directive.

The family values a natural, calm, and simple approach to early childhood development. They favour quality, age-appropriate interaction, sensory play, outdoor time, reading, and routine over excessive toys or overstimulation. The Maternity Nurse will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a suitable feeding, sleeping, and developmental routine, adapting this as the baby grows.

The candidate will work alongside a Night Nanny, making excellent communication, consistency, handovers, and teamwork essential. The family travels periodically and the Maternity Nurse may be required to accompany them to ensure continuity of care.
