Overview
A warm family with two children, aged 10 months and 4 years, based in Sydney, is seeking a professional and nurturing Baby Nanny to care for their 10-month-old son. The 4-year-old daughter already has her own nanny. The family is looking for someone ASAP who can commit 4 days a week. They are seeking someone mature, organized, and calm, who values structure, cleanliness, and gentle care. The ideal candidate will confidently follow the baby’s established routine while creating a peaceful and loving environment.
Responsibilities
Provide attentive, loving, and responsive care throughout the day.
Follow and maintain the baby’s daily routine (naps, meals, and playtime).
Prepare nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks.
Change diapers and maintain excellent hygiene standards.
Keep all baby areas neat and well-organized – nursery, play zones, bottles, and toys.
Manage the baby’s laundry and maintain order in clothing and linens.
Engage in stimulating, age-appropriate activities (reading, singing, sensory play, outdoor walks).
Encourage developmental milestones in a calm, supportive way.
Support healthy sleep routines and nap consistency.
Communicate warmly and professionally with parents throughout the day.
Respect and follow the family’s parenting style and preferences.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar private household role
Reliable, patient, kind, and attentive to the child’s emotional and physical needs
Energetic, organised, and capable of managing routines independently
Fluent in English (French language skills a plus)
Proactive and creative, with a genuine passion for child development
Strong communication and teamwork skills with parents and other staff
Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Up-to-date vaccinations.
Legal right to work in Australia.
