Start date: Mid to late November 2026

Contract: Long-term, full-time Swiss employment contract

Family: Warm and welcoming private family of three, with one baby who will be approximately 3 months old at the start of the position

Accommodation: Live-in, with private living accommodation within the family home (two private bedrooms, private bathroom, private living room and private kitchen)

Schedule: Mainly night duty, with the nanny sleeping in the baby's room, plus a few daytime hours on-call when required and with advance notice

Days off: 1 full day + 1 half-day per week

Salary: CHF 5,000–5,500 gross per month, depending on experience

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a young, dynamic and experienced Baby Nanny / Live-in Nanny to join a warm and lovely private family in Cologny, Geneva.

The main responsibility will be providing high-quality care for a 3-month-old baby, with a particular focus on overnight care and establishing a calm, consistent nighttime routine.

The nanny will also provide some daytime support when required, with advance notice, while respecting the family's schedule and the nanny's agreed working hours.

The successful candidate will be confident caring for a young baby independently and comfortable taking full responsibility for the baby's daily and nighttime routine.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Providing attentive, nurturing and developmentally appropriate care for the baby

  • Taking full responsibility for the baby's nighttime routine

  • Sleeping in the baby's room and responding to the baby during the night

  • Preparing bottles and sterilising bottles and feeding equipment

  • Feeding and burping the baby

  • Changing, dressing and bathing the baby

  • Establishing and maintaining appropriate sleep routines

  • Organising age-appropriate activities and stimulation

  • Taking the baby for walks and age-appropriate outings

  • Keeping the baby's nursery, clothing and belongings organised

  • Baby laundry and maintaining a clean and organised baby environment

  • Monitoring the baby's routine, sleep, feeding and general wellbeing

  • Keeping the parents informed about the baby's day and development

  • Working closely with the parents and supporting their parenting approach

REQUIREMENTS:

  • European passport / EU work eligibility in Switzerland

  • Proven professional experience caring for newborns and young babies

  • Confident and knowledgeable with newborn care

  • Comfortable with night duty

  • Able to work independently and take initiative

  • Warm, caring and nurturing personality

  • Young, dynamic, reliable and highly organised

  • Discreet and respectful of family privacy

  • Flexible and adaptable

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Checkable references

  • Driving licence is a plus

  • Swimming ability is a plus

  • Willingness to travel with the family is a plus

  • Previous private household / UHNW experience is appreciated

HANDOVER & SUPPORT:

The nanny will receive a personal handover and training period before starting independently, ensuring she is fully familiar with the baby's routine, preferences and the family's expectations.
